The Radar Doppler Surface Flow Sensor is the ideal sensor for all applications in water flow monitoring applications. It is particularly suitable for flow measurement in open flumes river and lakes as well as coastal areas. It is an economical solution through versatile and simple mounting options.
LOG_aFlow Software for flow charts and discharge
LOG_aFlow is a sophisticated ADCP data evaluation software for hydrodynamics analysis. LOG_aFlow evaluates the measurement data quality and creates flow charts that contain up to 5 times higher data point density compared to the original ADCP data, with information in-between survey tracks and in-between survey runs. The LOG_aFlow also includes a Discharge module that allows easy calculation of volumetric flow of a given domain.
Autonomous Hydrological Surveying
General Acoustics can provide remote operated vehicles for complete autonomous surveys.
These can be delivered fitted with ADCP (for flow profile measurements), echo-sounders, Sub-bottom Profilers, Multi-beam echo-sounders and hydrological instrumentation to perform complete surveys in lakes & rivers.
LOG_aLevel Tide Gauge
LOG_aLevel is a remote sensing, stand-alone water level gauge (tide gauge). The system can work with Ultrasound, Radar or Pressure sensors. It is extremely robust & reliable and is used for precise measurements of all kinds of water levels and wave dynamics (up to steep waves).
The system can be easily extended to include a Datalogger, Data Communication systems and additional hydrological and meteorological system to form a complete monitoring station. Furthermore, multiple LOG_aLevel stations can be interconnected to form a network. Integration in SCADA systems is straightforward.
